Senior Shout Out!

Cadence celebrates seniors! Kudos to these talented young artists who have such exciting future prospects. Thank you for being a part of the Cadence family for so many years!

Alyssa Abielmona will be attending VCU for musical theater and journalism! This summer, she plans on working as well as hanging out with friends. She’s been involved with Cadence since last summer when she was in the Cadence Cabaret and this year as a theater counselor for Seussical Jr. and a member of KdentsTV.

Yuna Chen will be studying economics at the Wharton Business School at UPenn next year. She has worked as a sound tech and assistant stage manager for several shows and camps with Cadence and will be a sound tech for Pippin this summer.

Gaia Eidson will attend Marymount Manhattan in the Fall for a BFA in Musical Theater and a minor in Creative Writing. Gaia has been seen in the Cadence Cabarets for the past two years, portrayed JD in Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition, Mrs. Gardner in Carrie: The Musical, and will take on the role of Leading Player in Pippin this summer. They are incredibly thankful for all that Cadence has taught them and are thrilled to live in the Big Apple!

Sarah Fuller will attend Christopher Newport University in the fall to study psychology with a leadership minor through the President’s Leadership & Honors programs. She enjoyed participating in Cadence’s Carrie last summer as an ASM, and has loved being a member of KdentsTV this year!

Cameron Gardner has been involved with Cadence for as long as she can remember. From taking TRAIN classes throughout middle school and participating in their summer productions, Cadence has helped shape her into the person and performer she is today. This summer, she will be playing Charlemagne in Cadence’s Pippin and Irene Roth in Arts to All’s Crazy For You. Next year, she looks forward to attending the University of Virginia, double majoring in Drama and Media Studies, with a minor in American Sign Language!

Montgomery Jones has been so grateful to be involved with Cadence for two years now, participating in TRAIN, interning as a KdentsTV leader, and camp counseling at Cadence's musical camps! You can find her this summer starring in the indie film Melee and appearing in Cadence's THE TAYLOWS. This fall, she will be furthering her career by pursuing her BFA degree in Acting!

Kyle Larsen plans on going to George Mason for a BFA in performing arts as well as continuing modeling throughout DC and NYC. Summer plans include playing Lewis in Pippin, as well as a role in Cadence's web-series, THE TAYLOWS. He has been involved with Cadence from taking TRAIN and being part of KdentsTV and has developed very close and personal relationships with everyone involved.

Milind Murthy has been a member of the Cadence family for over 6 years. He fell in love with acting through the TRAIN pre-professional program and has since moved on to become a member of the KdentsTV Youth Leadership Committee, a cast member in THE TAYLOWS, and even made his professional debut with Cadence during their run of Native Gardens. Next year, Milind will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta to follow his dream of becoming a successful professional actor.

Manya Suri will be attending UVA next year in the College of Arts & Sciences. She hopes to pursue a career in journalism, and Cadence has definitely shaped her love for storytelling. She’s been involved in Cadence theater productions, KdentsTV, and THE TAYLOWS. She is so grateful for all the friendships and connections she has made throughout the years!

Addison Zacharias will be playing Fastrada in Cadence’s Pippin this summer and studying drama at NYU’s Tisch School for the Arts in the fall. She is insanely thankful for all of the opportunities she’s been given at Cadence, including playing Ms. Fleming in Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition and Margaret in Carrie: The Musical. She has been a two-year member of KdentsTV and studied under the fabulous Laine Satterfield in TRAIN acting classes. Thank you, Cadence, for all of the memories, connections, and experience!
